ELITE STRIKERS FC


WHAT IS “ELITE STRIKERS FC”?

ELITE STRIKERS FC is a youth travel club soccer program. Our mission is to provide a team soccer playing environment that is conducive for a holistic and experiential development of players. Our aim is to create a better environment with consistent interactions with players and parents along with positive and supportive approach of the coaches. We believe that when commitment and hard work are supported with a positive coaching, it leads to an overall development of an individual at a young age with qualities like respect and humility. ELITE STRIKERS program has teams from birth year 2015-2009 (high school).

WHICH LEAGUE DO WE PLAY IN? ELITE STRIKERS FC Teams compete against other youth soccer clubs such FC United, Wilmette Wings, FC-1, Chicago Fire Jr etc. in YSSL (Boys) and IWSL (Girls).

PLAYING SEASONS: Fall, winter (indoor league play) and spring.

AGE CUTOFFS: The age cut off is based on the US Soccer mandated year of birth system. Younger players can play in older age groups.

PRACTICES: Each team has 2/3 practices per week in the fall and spring. (1 or 2 practices per week during the winter season)

HOME FIELDS: In Winnetka, Glenview, Glencoe, Northfield, Kenilworth, Northbrook.

DO I STILL PLAY CORE AYSO? No. Players have practices or games 3 days a week.  If a player would like even more soccer, then it is available as an option if a player is interested in playing both.

TRYOUTS: Open Now

WHAT SHOULD PLAYERS BRING TO TRYOUTS? Your child should come ready to play soccer wearing shin guards and cleats. Players should bring a soccer ball and water.

COACHING STAFF: Our professional coaches are USSF (United States Soccer Federation) licensed.

LEVEL OF COMMITMENT:  Players are expected to attend all practices and games. In case of unavoidable absence parents/players need to inform the coach as far in advance as possible. Player’s attitude towards the team/teammates and their level of commitment shown during practices and games will impact their playing time. A full commitment is required, and players and parents must sign a commitment letter.  If a player misses practices and games without prior notifications and cannot fulfill the 425 ELITE commitment he/she will be asked to leave the program.
