U7-U12 (1st Grade - 6th Grade ) PROGRAM INFORMATION 
Our Grassroots program is the foundation for all the fun, excitement, and learning that happens on the fields! We have developed our soccer program to be age-appropriate and developmentally challenging based on our Six Philosophies, which are the essence of AYSO’s Mission and Vision and guide all that we do.

Program structure

- Players practice once a week with their team (60 min session).
- Games are played on Saturdays. 
- Teams are led by Parent Volunteer Coaches.
- Every team must have at least one parent-coach.
- Each team gets the assistance of our AYSOProfessional Coaches (P2 Soccer) for half of the session (30 min).
- Parents are asked to submit 1 friend or team request at the time of registration (We try our best to honor this request).
- Team practice day, time and field are chosen by team parent coach from options provided by coordinator/director. Team coaches poll the team to find the appropriate fit.

Program timeline:
Registration opens- MAY (REGISTER NOW)** Registration includes both Fall and Spring season (Fall only registration is not available)
Team formation and coach allocation start- JULY WEEK 4
Practice slot allocation start- AUGUST WEEK 1/2
Team formation and practice slot- AUGUST WEEK 2/3
Exact Game schedule released- SEPTEMBER WEEK 1

** The earlier the majority of the registrations are in the quicker we can form the team and organize practice schedule.

FALL SEASON START: First full week of September
FALL SEASON END: October last week/ November first week 

SPRING SEASON START: March 31st
SPRING SEASON END: May 31st (make-up games to be play June week 1)

USUAL SATURDAY GAME TIME SLOTS:
U7 Girls and Boys- 8 am or 9 am
U8 Boys: 10 am
U8 Girls: 11:15 am
U10 Girls: 12:30 pm
U10 Boys: 1:30 pm
U12 Girls: 2:40 pm (played in a joint league with Highland Park)
U12 Boys: 4 pm (played in a joint league with Highland Park)
