U5 / 5U (PRE-K) PROGRAM INFORMATION

At this age, players should be exposed to soccer through simple, fun activities and games that require little to no practice and a minimal time commitment.”

U5 REGION 425 PROGRAM

Monday: 3:30–4:15 pm (Winnetka)
Tuesday: 3:30–4:15 pm (Glencoe)
Wednesday: 3:30–4:15 pm (Northfield)
Thursday: 3:30–4:15 pm (Kenilworth)
Practice assignments will begin mid-July.
GAME DAY INFORMATION
Games are played on Saturdays from 9:00–9:45 am at Townley Field (Kenilworth).
Players are led through warm-up activities by AYSO P2 Coaches.
Games are played in a pickup-style format.
Parent involvement is expected on game day.
Every team must have at least one parent-coach.

U6 / 6U (KINDERGARTEN) PROGRAM INFORMATION
U6 players are assigned to teams, usually based on school.
Team rosters are capped at five players.
Each team of five players is required to have a parent volunteer coach for Saturday games.
Players practice once per week for 45 minutes with an AYSO Professional P2 Coach.
Practice assignments will begin mid-July.

Teams play against each other, supervised by parent coaches and AYSO Professional Coaches.
PARENT COACH REQUIREMENTS
All parent volunteer coaches must register as volunteers through their inleague.playsoccer.org account and complete a background check.
Optional online coaching certification courses (eTrainU) are available through the inLeague portal.
Parent coaches are always supported by AYSO P2 Professional Coaches.

UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT
Players will receive a jersey, a pair of shorts, and a pair of socks during the first week of the program.
Each child must have shin guards and soccer cleats.
